Tooth pain in a 35 year old man

A 35-year-old male with no significant past medical history or medical treatment presented with severe, intermittent tooth pain localized to the lower left jaw. The pain, described as sharp and throbbing, had persisted for three days and was exacerbated by chewing and cold stimuli. Clinical examination revealed dental caries on the occlusal surface of tooth #36, accompanied by sensitivity to percussion and palpation. Radiographic examination confirmed deep carious involvement reaching the pulp chamber and periapical region, indicative of irreversible pulpitis with symptomatic apical periodontitis.
